Where will we be staying?

Mike and Sophie expect to be in Mallorca from 27/7/2027. We expect to stay in the Palma Nova area of the island. This decision will have been made by August 2026. Although we would love our guests to stay nearby, Mallorca is a beautiful island and we encourage you to explore!

We also expect to have an informal welcome event which all guests are welcome to attend on the 29th of July 2027 nearby to Palma Nova.

Can I stay at the venue?

Michael and Sophie will be staying at Maricel only the night before and of the wedding. Guests are welcome to stay at the hotel but this is not expected.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We're having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away while we say “I do” and stay fully present with us. There will be plenty of time to take photos afterwards, and we'd love for you to snap away then!

We also ask that you please wait to post any photos of the bride and groom on social media until we've had a chance to share our own first. Thank you for helping us keep these moments extra special.

Is there a dress code?

Since we're celebrating in a beautiful destination, we'd love for you to embrace the setting. Due to the nature of the venue, a formal dress code is required.

Pack something that makes you feel amazing — we can't wait to see everyone looking their absolute best! Please reserve light blue for the wedding party. Feel free to contact us if you are unsure.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limitations on numbers, please only bring plus ones if they are specified on your invitation.

Are children welcome?

Yes - we'd love for children to join us for the ceremony, reception, and evening celebrations! We just ask that only children named on your invitation attend.

If children become noisy or unsettled, they will need to be taken away from the ceremony area so it can continue without disruption. If you feel your child may not cope with the ceremony, please don't worry - you're very welcome to join us afterwards for drinks and the celebrations.

Please note that children won't be able to stay overnight at the wedding hotel, but there are lots of lovely child-friendly places to stay just a 5-10 minute drive away.
